20 Glossary of communication (public relations) terms
I'll explain all the important words about the bachelor of communication in public relations. In this program I'll learn a lot of things about how company works and what they need to do or have to create a good relation with their customers. I'll be able to navigate between the publicity they need to do, the interactions with their target group, the management of a crisis and a lot of other things. To say one sentence ; I'll be able to manage the image and visibility of companies and what customers think about them.

B2B (Business to business)
acronym
The exchange of products, services or information between businesses.
Example: Walmart sell somethings to Maxi is a B2B.

B2C (Business to consumer)

The process of selling products and services directly between a business and consumers.
Example: A compagnie like Canadien Tire sell something to a consumer.

Brand image

The general impression that a person, organization, or product presents to the public
Example: Apple has a purified and simple brand image.

An organized course of action to achieve a goal.
Example: The prime minister have a good incentive campaing.

Example: Instagram is my communication chanel, that's were I put my informations.

Planning of communication actions in the short or medium term for a specific problem/need.
Example: We have a communication plan about what we want to show about our company for the next 2 years.

crisis management

The process by which a business or other organization deals with a sudden emergency or bad situation.
Example: When we had a controversial thing on the news about us, we are in a crisis management mode because we need to find solutions for the company.

Customer experience is the impression your customers have of your brand as a whole throughout all aspects of the buyer's journey.
Example: A good refund service is a big part of the customer experience

The state of being known or talked about by many people, especially on account of notable achievements.
Example: Apple has a lot of fame because everyone knows what apple is.

A franchise is a type of license that grants a franchisee access to a franchisor's proprietary business knowledge, processes, and trademarks, thus allowing the franchisee to sell a product or service under the franchisor's business name.
Example: Mcdonald is a franchise, the big boss had sell the name of the company to random person so they can have a restaurant with the name Mcdonald on it.

A marketing terms that refers to aggregating prospective buyers into groups or segments with common needs and who respond similarly to a marketing action.
Example: The segmentation is between 16 and 32 years old.
